FOUNDER, NINA O’NEAL

A financial advisor since 2006 and a financial services professional since 2004, Nina O’Neal is an industry veteran.  During her career she has been an advocate for female financial advisors and is dedicated to being a voice to help to develop more support, initiatives, and programs for women in financial services.  She began her career on Wall Street in New York City and then went on to being a financial advisor with a wirehouse.  She is a mother of two young sons and co-owns an independent RIA.

Nina O’Neal is currently a Partner and Investment Advisor with AIM Advisors. She has been featured in multiple industry publications as a sought out national thought leader and commentator on industry topics and trends. Named one of the InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 Financial Professionals, Nina also serves as a participant for InvestmentNews Think Tank, “Future of the Financial Services Industry.”  She can be found on Seasons 4 & 5 of “Practice Makeover,” an InvestmentNews video series. Nina is frequently sought out as a panelist and participant in industry conferences as well as podcast guest. She is a writer on practice management and industry topics for Financial Planning Magazine. Nina has also been featured as a commentator in InvestmentNews, US News & World Report, The Washington Post, OnWallStreet, Bank Investment Consultant, Investor’s Business Daily, The Street, Citywire RIA Magazine, wealthmanagement.com, and more. She was named a 2018 recipient of the Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 Leadership Award. She is the host of “The Juggle is Real,” a video series with InvestmentNews that shares the unique challenges of working parents.

MARKETING AND MEMBER ASSOCIATE

Claire is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University where she studied Brand Management and Marketing. She joined AIM Advisors in 2018 as a marketing intern and has most recently taken on her current role as a Marketing and Member Associate. Since joining the team, Claire has taken on many roles that have challenged her professionally and helped her realize her passion for marketing and improving the overall member experience.

 

In her free time, Claire organizes. She labels just about everything and enjoys hosting guests whenever an opportunity arises. On the weekends she can be found exploring new Raleigh restaurants with friends or on the green due to her love / hate relationship with golf.

 

Claire is eager to begin her career on the team and considers herself lucky to work alongside successful, empowered women at Female Advisor Network. The women that make up the network are what inspire Claire both inside the office and out.
